The past year, we've received several fraudulent phone calls daily, including 162 claiming to be Dell Tech Support (they even know my full contact info and model of computer, so either Dell has been hacked, which they deny, or someone in Dell is doing this).
The Dell callers warn my computer has been hacked and they need me to contact them so they can go in and fix it.
Other calls include one this morning claiming to say I'm approved for a Payday Loan of 1,500 to 10,000. The recorded female voice asks me to call her back at her personal number.
Fraud Numbers have included Payday Loan: 14693517852 , many numbers for Dell, and
Fraud! 18006249896
Fraud! 19174389273
Etc.
Bottom line--if you don't recognize it, don't answer it or return the call!
